COVID-19 is shining a spotlight on hygiene and cleanroom solutions
This year’s most important topics will be on the agenda at Cleanzone – International trade fair for contamination control and cleanroom technology – on 18 and 19 November 2020. Hygiene and cleanroom solutions are helping curtail the spread of COVID-19. Companies are also turning to high-tech concepts from the cleanroom industry to help them comply with the relevant regulations. These circumstances mean that Cleanzone will be a particularly attractive place to do business this autumn.
+++ Cleanzone goes digital +++
Cleanzone, international trade fair for contamination control and cleanroom technology will take place digitally on November 18 and 19.
Messe Frankfurt has decided on this in close cooperation with the industry and the strategy commission. Rising case numbers of the COVID-19 pandemic and stricter travel restrictions make it difficult or impossible for exhibitors and visitors from outside Germany in particular to take part in Cleanzone in person. These conditions make it impossible for Cleanzone to take place in Frankfurt this November in a way that would do justice to its role as a highly international industry gathering. As a result, we are unable to hold the trade fair in a manner that would make it successful for exhibitors and visitors.
Even so, the cleanroom industry and their user sectors from all high-tech industries continue to need and want an international meeting place this autumn where they can engage in dialogue about the latest developments in the field of contamination control and join forces to promote their innovations. Virtual Cleanzone offers exhibitors lots of attractive new business functions, as well as the opportunity to give multimedia presentations of their products and actively network with their customers using AI-supported matchmaking. Visitors will not only be able to speak with exhibitors, but also view product demonstrations, interactively participate in highly relevant specialist presentations, vote for this year’s Cleanzone Award winner and view the award ceremony live.
Not least the current developments show it: Controlling and managing contamination hazards is now more important than ever. It is an issue that has long played a major role in industrial high-tech production. Cleanroom and hygiene technology has been used to develop technical solutions and standards that can also play their part in solving everyday problems in the time of COVID-19. Cleanzone tackled this subject at an early date, making it an essential meeting place for the international dialogue on cleanroom technology and transforming the event into an engine of innovation for the industry.
