New peristaltic pump: EasyClick Spetecs' latest product
New peristaltic pump: EasyClick
Spetecs' latest product The purpose of a peristaltic pump is to pump fluids from A to B. This type of pump has been used for many years in a wide range of analytical devices to pump sam-ples or reagents into the device. Increasing automation in the laboratory has led to a demand for easy-to-operate pumping systems that do not require pressure to be set individually. In the new EasyClick pump from Spetec the tube is placed in a compact unit that can simply be clicked into place. A spring mechanism automatically adjusts the pressure applied as the tube wears. By means of the tube, peristaltic pumps are suitable for continuous operation of liq-uids. Hence, the fluid does not come into contact with moving parts. Depending on the size of the pump head a peristaltic pump can be fitted with one to five channels. For low-pulsation and continuous pumping a high number of rollers is required. Quantities ranging from µL/min to L/min can be pumped in line with the size of the pump head and the tube

Does your old HPLC/ GC/ ICP-MS systems have value?
Make money with your old devices. In the warehouse, under a thick layer of dust, equipment is rusting away. There is money on the shelf without you realizing it. A new instrument has been purchased and what do we do with the old system? "Put it in the warehouse, for parts or as a backup". This is the most common answer. Does this happen? No. Parts don't fit, it takes too much time and money to restart the old unit. Why don't you offer us your old HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, AAS and ICP-MS? And receive money for your next investment. Labrecycling buys used instruments and gives it a 2nd life.

Sample Value
Optimise the value of your sample collection The definition of value of biobank samples can be considered in a couple of ways. Possibly the most important measure of value is how the sample is used. This may be in research or potentially industry to further a cure or a product. Depending on the nature of your biobank samples, and self-sufficient models there may be a monetary value associated with the target use and end point of a sample. Maximising sample value in any case can be achieved by the handling, storage and data associated with it. Specific requirements for samples, such as the storage conditions, patient attributes and collecting protocols may be integral to the researcher or organisation that plan to use it for a particular purpose. To successfully demonstrate and advertise these requirements, the sample must be managed, tracked and associated with metadata. It is also important to be able to demonstrate and report on this. MbioLIMS Biobanking® is specifically designed for biobanks and sample collections
