Successfully Going Live with New LIMS in COVID-19 Lockdown On March 23rd 2020 amidst the Covid-19 pandemic and enforced operational changes, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) went live with the Achiever Medical laboratory information management system (LIMS). The unconventional go live was conducted virtually. Online hand-holding sessions connected members of Interactive Software Limited’s (ISL) project team with members of the NNUH and Quadram Institute Bioscience. The Norwich Research Park Biorepository is a partnership between Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Quadram Institute Bioscience (QIB) and the University of East Anglia and provides samples of human tissue to health researchers. The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council provided £3.5 million of capital funding towards the project. The NRP BioRepository provides samples to researchers across the Norwich Research Park, its associated hospitals as well as externally.
