Is LiFi about to revolutionize data exchange in clean- rooms? LiFi, or light fidelity technology, is like WiFi without the radio waves. Based on Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), LiFi uses visible UV and Near InfraRed light. The advantage is that light has a much broader spectrum, enabling users to exchange data far more rapidly. This is because LEDs can be switched on and off millions of times per second and this is used to transmit an enormous amount of data. Itís like morse code in a supersonic dimension.
